LEJOG has been a topic of discussion between our circle of friends for a few years now following Michael (Fletch) completing this ride back in 2015. “I always wanted to do it again” he said, “Ideally before I was 40 as although my brain says yes to challenges, my body isn’t getting any younger”.
He completed it over 11 days back then and while it was mainly a solo trip, his Dad was the transport taking him to the start point. John (Fletch snr) stayed a couple of days before going home and then met back up for the Scotland leg and to return Michael back to Sunderland.
6 years on and LEJOG 2021 is mapped out, booked, and just round the corner. Fletch Mick and Barry will get on the road between 19th June – 1st July to complete this epic ride over 13 days, raising money for their chosen charity St Benedicts Hospice along the way.
“It’s probably been the biggest personal achievement of my life” said Fletch “and I’m blessed to have the opportunity to do it again, this time with friends whom I’ll sure will feel the same”
It’ll be challenging for all 3 of the lads. There’ll be highs, lows, aches, pains, excitement and emotions, and their blog will be updated regularly so friends, family and followers can keep track.

Good luck mate ya DA will be proud of you.
