We crossed the border yesterday and blasted our way to Abington, burning off the Indians we devoured the night before. It was a nice day, but for us, any day without rain is now classed as a nice day!
This morning, we start early and continue on the long road up Scotland. 75 mile to Loch Lomond and The Trossacs. We’re staying in Arrochar. There’s no rain planned according to our trained weatherman (Mick). so the camaraderie will be back.
Some of the villages we tick off are Larkhall, Hamilton and Cambuslang before we join onto the River Clyde cycle path and have 20 odd flat miles around Glasgow. We’ll obviously send Mick 1st today as the jam boy for the midgies. 🦟
Here’s few links to check out. Today’s Route. Latest pics and also a Facebook page here

I hope you didn’t get eaten alive by the midges – im a bit of a magnet fir the little critters!
Glad you (should have) had a dry day at last.
Each mile is one mire closer to your goal!
