Day 1: Land’s End to Looe
Day one sees us leave Sennen Cove (Lands End sign) and head to Penzance passing St Michaels mount at around 14 mile in. This will be the perfect location for the first pit stop as climbing commences from here on in.
A couple of hours later we’ll arrive at King Harrys Ferry, Feock. Sailing the chain ferry across the River Fal will be a welcomed break I’m sure after covering around 40 miles of ups n downs. Well, mainly ups! 😊 (shh don’t tell the other two)
Cycling onwards to Tregony and through Trelowth, we’ll arrive at the River Fowey where another ferry crossing awaits us. Once safely over we’ll head east towards Barcelona. (yeah seriously!) We navigate through a small area known as Barcelona on the way to our final destination for the day, the small coastal town of Looe.
